Max Cooper
Max is a seasoned bike mechanic and builder based in Telluride, Colorado, known for his deep passion for local riding and precision bike work. With a reputation for custom builds and thoughtful tuning, Max brings riders’ visions to life — whether it’s tailoring e-bikes for comfort and performance, or optimizing mountain, gravel, and road bikes for the unique challenges of the San Juans. A trusted and animated figure in the regional cycling community, he blends technical expertise with a love for adventure to help and inspire cyclists push their personal boundaries, and to go farther and faster, with more confidence.
Steven Steinberg
Steven has reveled in instilling a love of mountain culture in his 2 daughters, Sadie and Lilah. Since 1994, he has managed to live the Telluride dream by owning and operating small businesses, and working for the Telluride Ski Area and Box Canyon Bicycles. From river adventures and music festivals, to cycling, skiing, and snowboarding, his focus has been on fun, positivity, and inclusivity. He plans to continue inspiring stoke in locals and visitors alike through this exciting venture with Max.
